i have been diagoniased with swine flu. plz help?
i've been having a fever and body chills at night for the past 3 days but I thought it was just a normal fever. where i live, there have only been 2 cases of swine flu in this country. excluding me. Tamiflu, the antibiotic needed, is not available here. i've been really worried? doctors have prescribed me another antibiotic which apparently has the same components as that of Tamiflu. im having Fluhalt instead.
is it any good?
Also, i am getting quarantined at home. (i live in a poor country, they have just 1 hospital here) but the problem is, my mom has got a certain kind of deficency, and lupus for the past 10 or so years. my mom cant afford to get any kind of infection. not even the smallest. so she's literally been balancing on the tip of a sword for the past 10 years. and now that i have swine flu, what if she gets the infection?? im pretty sure she wont survive if she gets it. because the doctor said that swine flu is not curable, the medicenes just make your anti-bodies stronger. well, my mum's anti-bodies are weak and her immunity is very bad. what am i supposed to do? i am really very worried about my mom more than i am about myself.
please, this is no joke so dont be mean.

xxema67xx, thanks, but her immune system cannot be strengthened , she's tried everything and nothing works. All these years, her health's been gettting worse. i know swine flu is communicable, i was hoping i could be isolated somewhere so my mom wouldnt get the infection. but there really is no where else i can go. Accidental overdose, but people think it was deliberate!?
I came down with Swine Flu on Tuesday, went to the doctor on Wednesday and got Tamiflu. The doctor told me that it will most likely make me feel nauseous. I have a phobia (not just a fear) of throwing up.
My doctor (like 3 or 4 years ago) gave me a prescription for some anti-nausea drugs for migraines. My Mum was with me at the time and he said I could take them every FOUR hours. I still had some left so I thought I'd take them.
I took them every four hours or so over two days.
On Thursday at exactly 3pm my body started becoming very sore and stiff, so I rung my dorm manager and she called an ambulance. Then I started having convulsions, I could not speak or move.
It took the doctors an hour to work out that I'd overdosed on the anti nausea pills, which were actually meant to be taken every EIGHT hours.
Eventually they gave me a fair amount of muscle relaxants and I slowly was able to talk and move again.
I'm in a University dorm (I'm an RA) and everyone (some how!) heard that I OD. They are asking me why I did it? was I depressed? was I trying to kill myself?..
And I wasn't!
My boyfriend wont come visit me because he thinks he'll get swine flu, my family live ages away and I'm still traumatized by it all!
I don't want to face people now..
What should I do? (answers)
Need help swallowing a capsule.?
I found out i have/had a mild case of swine flu, and now need to take TAMIFLU twice a day, i cannot swallow tabs/caps and have had a problem with this all my life, i hate not being able to do such a simple thing.

I done it by
putting cap in mouth, take a swig of cola, touch chin onto chest, swallow slowly.
